Delhi Bans Firecrackers In City Throughout The Year

The Delhi government on Thursday imposed a "perpetual ban" on the manufacture, use and sale of firecrackers, including through online platforms, in the national capital, according to an official order. Principal Secretary (environment) of the Delhi government A K Singh invoked the "perpetual ban" on firecrackers under the Environment (Protection) Act, 1986. "No One Listens": Delhi Resident's Video On Cows, Garbage On Road

Nearly a year after a man was attacked by a bull and killed in south Delhi's Kalkaji Extension, residents have raised concerns over a sudden rise in the number of stray cattle on the road outside their homes again. In February, a city resident Subhash Kumar Jha was attacked by the bull outside a school in the area and killed. He went to the school to pick up his son when the incident, which was seen on CCTV camera, happened. A new video has emerged from the same area, showing garbage strewn outside the walls of residential colonies and a school, with over a dozen cows sitting on them. "Look at these flats. Germany To Cut Down Military Aid For Ukraine In 2025: Report

Germany, the second largest contributor of aid to Ukraine, plans to halve its military aid to Kyiv in 2025, a parliamentary source told AFP Saturday. Instead, the government of Olaf Scholz will bank on money generated from frozen Russian assets to continue supporting Kyiv, and is not planning "additional aid" to the 4 billion euros ($4.4 billion) set aside in next year's budget. This year, aid from Berlin amounted to 8 billion euros. To compensate, Germany is counting on "the creation, within the framework of the G7 and the European Union, of a financial instrument using frozen Russian assets, said a separate source from inside the ministry of finance.
